All the more because he doesn't even know what he did wrong. So, when Mario runs, Jordan is devastated. Jordan is a very sensitive man who pulls back immediately he'd never do anything to hurt him. He wants to take things all the way, but notices that Mario is hesitant. Jordan is attracted to Mario and ecstatic they're sharing a room at the convention. So why does he suddenly like the idea of maybe letting Jordan lead? The whole idea throws him for a loop and once he has experienced how much more enjoyable it is for him to be a bottom, he panics and runs. All goes well until Jordan challenges one of the firmest preconceptions Mario has about himself: he has always been a top. So, when he runs into Jordan, a man he met a few years ago, he is surprised but delighted that the attraction is immediate and seems to be mutual. Mario has managed to get over Luke, and he definitely feels lonely. And, just like Luke's, it isn’t an easy one – but not for the same reasons. What a great sequel to Rough Riders! Even though I was happy that Luke found a new lover in the first book, the fact that his ex, Mario, had nobody at the end of the previous story did bug me.
